About me

"Do what you love, everyday."

I would like to introduce myself: I am Valerie De Bock, make-up and skincare lover! In 2014, I obtained my beautician diploma. Besides learning about the wonderful profession of a beautician, I especially learned that make-up was my true calling. That's why in 2015, I started a comprehensive make-up artist and theatrical make-up artist training. Thanks to this training, I was able to gain experience through various internships behind the scenes of TV.

After the training, I started working at the perfumery Ici Paris XL. For five years, I worked there as a make-up artist. My love for skincare and make-up only grew there, and I learned a great deal. I received training from various brands, which expanded my product knowledge. And I had the opportunity to do make-up for many different people. But after those five years, it was time for something new.

I was receiving many requests for bridal make-up, which is usually on Saturdays and difficult to combine with working at the perfumery. That's why I decided to leave that job. From then on, I could wholeheartedly say: "Yes!" to every request, and I could truly turn my passion into my profession: make-up artist.

Currently, I have completed additional training courses such as permanent make-up, Lash-lift, Brow lamination, and Dermaplaning. I believe it's important to keep learning and stay informed about the latest techniques. That's why I already have new training courses and specializations in mind, so keep an eye on me!

On my Instagram page @valeriedbmakeup, it has said "Do what you love, everyday" for several years. With the start of this new chapter in my life, I can confidently confirm that this quote is entirely true: turning my passion into my profession is a dream come true!

I love making you shine. The most beautiful reaction I ever received from someone was: "Thanks to you, my day was even more beautiful." And that's exactly what I do it for. To make you feel happy, beautiful, confident, but above all, yourself!

Kind regards,

Valerie
